ABSTRACT
Cerebrovascular diseases are considered the most frequent entities that can originate ischemias or hemorrhages. In most cases, the neurological damage is unilateral, manifesting itself in hemiplegia or hemipharesia of the corresponding hemibody, with partial or total loss of the voluntary motor function, and decrease or loss of the reflective tendinous affecting, functional abilities of daily life. When a vascular encephalic accident occurs one of the affected segments is the forearm, involving pronation and supination movements and causing certain grade of disability blocking the successful development of any motor act, with the purpose of valuing the influence of the system of activities to increase the muscular force in the pronosupination forearm movements. It was applied to 20 patients (16 men and four women) that had a discreet hemipharesia, with an illness evolution of six months to five years. An experimental study was carried out with duration of two months of treatment. The Daniel’s Muscular Test was applied at the beginning and at the end in the Laboratory of Integral Evaluation Psicomotriz (LEIS) to compare results. The patients improved considerably, this was observed in the significant grade obtained after the application of Willconson’s Matched Pairs statistical test.REFERENCES
