ABSTRACT
The presence of the femoral neck fracture, associated to fractures of the femoral diaphysis, is a strange and difficult condition for its treatment. A clinical case is reported where the fracture of the femoral diaphysis was treated by intramedullary blocked nail, and in a second surgical time, osteosynthesis of the femoral neck fracture was made, by cannulated screw. The conclusion is that should be suspected proximal or distal fracture of femur, when a diaphysis fracture exists.
