Radial nerve lesion due to air-bag explosion: A case report and literature review

ABSTRACT

The case of a female patient who suffered multiple trauma as a consequence of the explosion of an airbag, after a low speed impact in an automobile is reported. Among the injuries, she suffered traumatic paralysis of the radial nerve, as a result of the impact to the proximal third of the arm, her evolution and nerve conduction examinations are described and the international literature on the subject is reviewed.
