ABSTRACT
Multiple Congenital Dysplasia it´s an uncommon congenital disease with wide orthopaedic manifestations and because it's difficult to diagnosc. We present a descriptive paper, with data taken from the clinical files and radiographs of Shriner´s Hospital for Cripped Children at Mexico City, of patients that had been diagnosed with multiple congenital dysplasia. Using Eguchi criteria we reviewed the epiphyseal alterations of long bones in the X-rays.There were 25 patients, 15 boys and 10 girls, the average age for presentation was 2.8 years. We study the clinical and radiographical findings of the disease. To our knowledge, this is the largest series ever reported, which allows us to define the most frequent manifestations that help to identify the disease and lead to the diagnosis and treatment.
