ABSTRACT
The conservative surgery of located bony tumors in pelvis, represents a challenge for the medical surgical team, of which demands an unquestionable experience. The innominate resection type II, II-A to and the IIA + IIIA has severe problems for reconstruction fince the remainig bone is a thin layer, with an irregular anatomy that prevents to make a stable and sound osteosynthesis. The objective of the present work is to demonstrate a new technique of reconstruction for the internal partial hemipelvectomy, by the use of a “Y” nail blocked with bolts to femur and with wires the iliac. This is a preliminary report of 2 patients. The advantages with this method are: to achieve an femoro iliac arthrodesis, or at least a non painful pseudoarthrosis; it doesn’t leave important shortening of the extremity and the patient returns quickly to their daily activities.REFERENCES
