ABSTRACT
This is a descriptive, longitudinal and multicentric study, carried out from July 1997 to June 1999. They were 188 patients whose age ranged between 2 and 17 years; 51% were men and 49% women, all with diagnosis of upper motor neuron damage. Just 49% of the patients walked and frequency of unilateral spastic foot was of 54%, being the right 35% and the left one 19%. It is proposed to correct all deformities in one time and delay the arthrodesis for the age of skeletal maturity, except for the Grice procedure.
