ABSTRACT
Current treatment for piogenic arthritis sequelae in the hip is controversial since damage can vary according to the severity of the disease and the clinical and X-ray picture at the time of diagnosis. Head points that must be considered are: limb shortening, joint unstability, deformity and pain. As a result, a treatment plan for mid and long term must be established as well. An original classification is proposed in comparison to the Hunka criteria of 1982.
