ABSTRACT
The case of a 26 year-old male patient who had a 4-year up-coming with mild swelling of the knee and radiological appearance of a sharp and mild destruction of femoral and tibial medial condyles in whom a biopsy failed to reveal a pigmented villonodular synovitis. Diagnosis was made once an open synovectomy was carried out.
