ABSTRACT

Myasthenia Gravis has a pathology characterized by alterations in the neuromuscular plate, which are due to the production of antibodies directed against the nicotinic receptor of acetilcholine of the postsinaptic membrane of the neuromuscular plate. Clinically, this is translated in muscular weakness. In this article, we resume the key points of the perioperative management, including: the preanesthesic valoration, the relationship between classification/morbility and mortality, and also the postoperative anesthetic evaluation.
