Eosinophilic colitis. A report of three cases

ABSTRACT

Eosinophilic colitis it’s an infrequent disease with a benign course and involves all layers of gastrointestinal tract. The clinical presentation is related with the specific affected region. We described 3 patients with eosinophilic colitis with diarrhea and abdominal pain. Peripheral eosinophilia was not present in all patients. We review the main issues of this rare disease.
