ABSTRACT
One of the most advanced functions in multicellular microorganisms is the immune system. This system has evolved simultaneously with these organisms. This response has two elementary components: one of them is innate, presenting a quick and general response and a very specific response. In this last case it is required that a more elaborated process takes place in order to create a very sensitive response specially directed to each aggression in a very peculiar form. The presentation of antigens represents the middle point between both responses, capturing antigens in very strategic points in a very early stage and collaborating with the specific immune response to generate a very complete blocking. Following, it is performed a very didactic analysis in order to explain these interactions.REFERENCES
