Nasoangiofibroma under endoscopic partial maxillectomy

ABSTRACT

Nasoangiofibroma is a benign tumor that can be highly aggressive locally, because it is usually asymptomatic and can be detected when it is already a considerable size, which is why detection through clinical and imaging compensation is essential. Its surgical management has various documented techniques which can cause significant morbidity to the patient. This article presents a clinical case of a patient diagnosed with nasoangiofibroma who is treated surgically with endoscopic partial maxillectomy after embolization, achieving the removal of the tumor without complications and without the need for transfusion.
