ABSTRACT
Reconstruction of complex defects involving the nose represents an aesthetic and functional challenge, requiring, five or more surgeries on average. We present the case of a patient with nasopharyngeal lymphoma treated surgically by total rhinectomy and reconstruction in two stages: in the first surgery, microsurgical reconstruction was performed with a radial forearm flap, cartilaginous frame support and skin grafts as internal covering lining and three months later, the nostrils were formed. The results with fewer surgical procedures were satisfactory, compared to those reported in the medical literature.
