ABSTRACT
31-year-old female comes to her annual check-up; during a
vaginal exam, a vulvar tumor is observed, and an additional
biopsy is taken with the report of myoepithelium. The tumor
is positive for vimentin, cytokeratin, and progesterone
receptors. The tumor resection was reported with free edges.
Myoepitheliomas are rare soft tissue tumors related to a genetic
alteration associated with sarcomas with poor prognosis.
However, the genital area is primarily benign.
