ABSTRACT
Cerebral Venous Thrombosis (CVT) is an uncommon neurological condition that can be severe and primarily affects middle-aged women. Symptoms can vary and be severe, with headache being the most common. Diagnosis is made through MRI in combination with venography, a non-invasive technique that allows for detailed visualization of the brain’s blood vessels. Heparin and oral anticoagulants are essential for reversing the thrombotic process and preventing complications. A highlighted case emphasizes the importance of neuroradiology in early diagnosis and treatment of CVT, significantly improving patient prognosis.REFERENCES
