ABSTRACT
Objective: Report a case of pancreatic adenocarcinoma metastatic to soft tissues and bone of the right shoulder.
Material and method: Retrospective study of a female in the sixth decade of life, referred to our unit for simple phase MRI due to a tumor in the right shoulder under study.
Results: A solid tumor was identified dependent on the trapezius muscle with extension to the anterior and medial belly of the deltoid with invasion to the distal third of the clavicle.
Conclusions: Although they are rare, muscle metasta-ses are an important differential diagnosis for the radiologist to correctly diagnose soft tissue tumors.
