Hydroa vacciniforme (HV) is a rare acquired photodermatosis. The lesions are usually induced by sunlight and UV irradiation (UV). HV is characterized by papules, vesicles and varioliform scars on sun exposed areas. Presentation in childhood is usual with spontaneous improvement during adolescence.
