ABSTRACT
Myiasis is an infestation of human tissue by a variety of two-wingled fly species order Diptera. This infestation can affect any part of the body, attack wounds, intact skin or external orifices. Furuncular myiasis or subcutaneous is caused by Dermatobia hominis. We present the case of a female patient of eleven years old, who acquired Dermatobia when she traveled to Chiapas, biological cycle and treatment.
