ABSTRACT
National Consensus of Superficial Mycosis in 2024 collected the reported cases of dermatophytosis in three Mycological Services (Hospital General Dr. Manuel Gea González, Centro Dermatológico del Sureste Dr. Fernando Latapí, and Hospital General de México). Five thousand and five hundred and eighty cases were registered: 3 161 females (56.6%) and 2 423 males (43.4%). The main etiological agents were: Trichophyton rubrum, followed by T. mentagrophytes and M. canis. The most affected age group was from 40 to 60 years and the main diagnosis was onychomycosis.
