ABSTRACT
Pregnancy asociated atypical hemolityc uremic syndrome (p-aHUS) is an infrequent disease. There are few reports in the literature and mainly described in the puerperium period. It's a trombotic microangiopathy (TMA) characterized for microangiopathic haemolytic anaemia (MAHA), thrombocytopenia and renal disfunction. Its difficult diagnosis during pregnancy is due to ruling out other TMA with similar clinical features and the fact that access to diagnosis tests are not easily accessible.
