ABSTRACT
The hypertrophy of the nipple is a deformity that latin people frequently presents in many patients it creates transcendental, social and psychological pathologies. Purpose: To show the outcome using a surgical technique for the treatment of the nipple hypertrophy. Material and methods: We present a group of 36 patients in which surgery was performed in a 2 year period with a follow up of six months of each and everyone. They were submitted to surgical treatment of the nipple hypertrophy doing 72 surgical procedures. Results: A total of 72 procedures were done in 36 patients between 23 and 50 years, an average of 39 years old. There were no complications related to the surgical procedure. None of the cases presented changes related to sensibility, ductal occlusion or nipple erectile capacity.REFERENCES
