ABSTRACT
Hydroacanthoma simplex is a rare, benign tumor of the eccrine
adnexal, that can be confused clinically with seborrheic keratosis,
basal cell carcinoma, Bowen’s disease, and others. It is a lesion
with the potential for malignant transformation, therefore attention
must be paid to this type of lesion. We present a 64-year old
female with a scalp tumor.
