ABSTRACT
There are several reconstruction options for joint replacement from the first fully metal Vitek-Kent ATM prostheses with complications due to reactions due to detachment of particles in the glenoid fossa to the personalized prostheses with polyethylene fossa and a titanium component to fix the eminence with evident improvement to the opening and reduction of postoperative pain. A clinical case of a 19-year-old male patient with a diagnosis of plexiform ameloblastoma is reported in the body, branch, coronoid process and mandibular condyle to the left. Knowing that ameloblastoma is a benign, locally invasive and highly recurrent odontogenic neoplasm of slow growth that rarely causes metastases, with condylar process of titanium alloy, chromium and colbate in addition to the Tecapeek joint component with graphene, obtaining satisfactory results, demonstrating that the planning and reconstruction adjusted to the needs of the patient give both aesthetic and functionally adequate results.
