ABSTRACT
Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood
to adulthood, which represents an opportunity for the
family, the school and, in general for all those involved
in the Growth and development of a child, to establish
the best proposal and acquisition of competence and
skills for his adulthood. The pediatrician, as a professional
responsible for the health and development of
adolescents, requires professionalization in the care
of this age group. The interview with the adolescent
is a process of exchanging information, ideas, thoughts,
emotions opinions, suggestions and recommendations
focused on and for the young person, based
on the principles of autonomy, beneficence and confidentiality,
always under the ethical conduct of the
professional.
