ABSTRACT
Population with chronic kidney disease is rapidly increasing.
Patients treated with chronic hemodialysis are
at significant risk for developing infective endocarditis.
Infective endocarditis is the second commonest cause of
death between these groups of patients. A clinical case
showing association between endocarditis and chronic
kidney disease is reported here and a brief revision
about the association of these two entities is also made.
