ABSTRACT
A 71-year-old female patient with a history of pelvic pain of 3 months that worsened in the last week, had a history of placement of 2 biliary stents due to choledocholithiasis 3 years ago, upon admission to the emergency room tomography showed images of the biliary stents in the pelvis, colonoscopy showed the penetration of a biliary stent through a diverticulum in the sigmoid, laparoscopic sigmoid resection was performed without complications and discharge in 1 week.
