ABSTRACT
The infection caused by Histoplasma capsulatum in the immunosuppressed host can affect a myriad of systems; the range of clinical manifestations in the primary cutaneous infection is wide; the pathological examination with appropriate staining showing the microorganism is enough for the diagnosis. We present a case series obtained between 2021-2023 which includes ten patients, all immunosuppressed, mostly men, in the age range of 27 to 65 years, seen in the outpatient clinic with a widespread, chronic dermatosis and diagnosed through biopsy and pathological examination.
