ABSTRACT
The treatment of lower extremity fractures in children and adolescents can be challenging. In the second virtual session organized by the Sociedad Española de Ortopedia Pediátrica (SEOP) in conjunction with the Sociedad Argentina de Ortopedia y Traumatología Infantil (SAOTI), the evaluation and principles of treatment of five controversial lower limb fractures were discussed. With the participation of experts from both societies, we addressed the current literature in the form of debates and possible differences in treatment. This article aims to provide readers with a summary of the literature-based arguments used in that session.
