ABSTRACT
Clostridioides difficile is recognized as the most common cause of nosocomial diarrhea and represents a challenge in public health. 50 to 75% of Clostridioides difficile colitis is related to the use of antibiotics. Fidaxomicin, metronidazole, or vancomycin can be used as antibiotic treatment.
