Psychological disorders in children and adolescents perinatally infected for HIV

ABSTRACT
Since the first case of VIH/SIDA in children occurred, changes in treatment alternatives have prolonged survival in such a way that psychologic disorders have been clearly described in these patients and their families. In this paper we emphasize the need on psychologic intervention in critical points in the treatment of children and adolescent with HIV/AIDS.
