ABSTRACT
Multiple sclerosis, a disabling disease whose pathological process affects functionality and limits the independence, quality of life and social integration of individuals who suffer from it. Despite the low prevalence rate, it is increasingly diagnosed in young adults, limiting their social and family participation. Thus, patients can integrate or reintegrate, depending on the case, to family life or to the work environment. It represents one of the many actions of health professionals in favor of improving the quality of life of the Cuban population, by providing a service with a health approach.REFERENCES
