ABSTRACT
Introduction: Because of the increasing of the morbidity and mortality by COVID-19, dermatologists from the National Health System demand bibliographical revisions which determine the characteristics of the different cutaneous manifestations. Objective: To examine the available scientific information about the cutaneous manifestations associated to the evolution of COVID -19.
Methods: An integrated revision was carried out. 88 publications were consulted and 25 sources were referenced from the databases PubMed and Google Scholar. The selection criteria were: articles published in Spanish or English during 2020, with free access to the complete text. Duplicated studies and those with low scientific quality were excluded, the evaluation was through critical and specialized reading and sources confrontation.
Conclusions: There is difficulty to establish the differential dermatologic diagnosis between a dermatosis produced by drugs and a viral exanthema (coronavirus or no coronavirus).
