Covid-19 is the most recently infectious disease discovered caused by the coronavirus (SARS Cov 2). Both, the new virus and the disease were unknown before the outbreak in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.The most common symptoms of Covid-19 are fever, tiredness and dry cough. Some patients may experience aches, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or rhinorrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and appear gradually. Some people become infected but do not develop any symptoms and do not feel ill. Most people (about 80 %) recover from the disease without any special treatment. About 1 in 6 people who get Covid-19 develop severe disease and have difficulty breathing. Older people and those with underlying medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop severe disease. About 2 % of people who have got the disease have died. People with fever, cough and shortness of breath should seek for medical attention.
