ABSTRACT
The management of facial burns is extremely challenging, harm or wounds in special areas, due to the potential aesthetic and functional sequelae. They require expertise in the use of complex reconstructive tissue techniques. The cheek is a peripheral unit of the face, which traces the preauricular contours of the ear. The skin color is like the rest of the face and gives it important contours. Treatment can range from medical management per se to surgical treatment based on escharectomy and skin coverage with grafts or flaps; considering symmetry, contour, color, and texture of the contralateral cheek. We present the case of a patient who was attacked. Such patient was operated on for a deep third degree burn with hot iron by third parties on his left cheek. This patient underwent debridement to define the defect. After that, a cervicofacial flap was rotated and extended to the retro auricular region, covering the secondary defect with an ipsilateral full thickness brachial graft. The postoperative period was uneventful. An optimal aesthetic and functional result were proven.
