ABSTRACT

Herein we report a case of a 40-years-old male patient with positive HIV infection who is derivate to the cardiothoracic surgery department because of a clinical and radiological documented thoracic tumor, which had biopsy that reported fibroconnective tissue. Days before, the surgical intervention is postponed because of a SARS-CoV-2 infection. One month later the patient comes to reschedule the procedure, however, the patient presents clinical remission of the tumor, confirmed by imaging studies.
