ABSTRACT
Introduction. The increase of quality in Cuban health public services, is one the priorities of the sector. The implementation of a QMS establishes the need to create a documentation that describes the processes and procedures, as well as to collect the required information for the effective planning, operation and control of the processes, the purpose of this study was: To design the documentary system of the radio pharmacy process of the conventional nuclear medicine service of the cedt-CIMEQ and to prepare the records for the collection of information that guarantees the traceability and control of the process. Methods. The general procedure for the process and the new registers were designed and made, for the collection of the information generated in its execution, based on the needs identified during a QUANUM diagnosis. Results.v The documentary system of the process was established by a key procedure that describes the main mutual-interrelated activities that comprise it and their interactions. It also includes the flow chart, three Standard Operating Procedures, six instructions and six records to provide daily activity evidence and monitoring. It was implemented as a test to validate its usefulness and introduce the necessary modifications for its subsequent approval. Conclusions. The design, development and use of the documentary system of the process is a significant step in the implementation of the Quality Management System that leads to the improvement of the quality of work and the satisfaction of those who receive it.REFERENCES
