A total of 1,755,701 people were trained throughout the country, including health workers and students, other sectors and mass organizations, in two stages. Among the topics addressed were: biosecurity, management of these patients, actions to be taken in Primary Health Care and hospitals in the pre-epidemic stage, clinical sample collection, the packaging algorithm, transport and receipt of the sample, performance of rapid tests, active screening, and protocols for action.
