ABSTRACT
Human influenza virus is a RNA virus. It is responsible for nearly 8-10% of pneumonia infections. Few case reports
have been published where mild acute pancreatitis (AP) was the initial clinical presentation of H1N1 virus infection.
We report a case of severe ap with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and acute kidney injury (AKI) caused
by an influenza a H1N1 virus.
