ABSTRACT
Urgent transfunctional support represents a common practice in critical care, therefore, the approach to study blood compatibility and therapeutic options in case of incompatibility must be well identified by non-hematologist doctors to be able to choose in serious situations The best strategy that represents the lowest risk. We review the protocol of care step by step in cases of incompatibility and we focus on the therapeutic options that have proven to be safe in the care of critical patients, especially in emergency clinical situations, since no protocol of so far is described action that regulates the transfucional support in these clinical scenarios.
