BCGosis in a nursing baby with severe combined immunodeficiency

ABSTRACT
The BCG (bacillus Calmette-Guérin) vaccine included in the national
vaccination scheme for newborns with adequate weight,
aims to protect the infant population against tuberculosis.
Adverse events have been classified as localized and disseminated,
the most frequent are erythema, ulcer at the injection
and lymphadenitis with the growth of ipsilateral regional lymph
nodes. A case of BCGosis in a nursling with severe combined immunodeficiency
with the clinical presentation is discussed.
