Cavernous hemangioma of the frontal bone. Case report and review of literature

ABSTRACT
The cavernous hemangiomas in the bones of the skull is not very frequent benign bone tumors characterized by osteolitic destruction that habitually are intervened surgically under the suspicion of another type of bone neoplasia. The complete resection of the lesion by means of craniectomy, including healthy bony margins of security constitutes the election treatment in these cases.
