ABSTRACT
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a multisystemic disease caused by an emerging virus called SARS-CoV-2. Most patients with COVID-19 have mild symptoms, or they may be asymptomatic; however, some have severe manifestation, that can even be life threatening. Some patients that recovered from COVID-19 develop chronic symptoms (a clinical entity named post-COVD-19 syndrome), which includes neurological, psychiatric, hematological, cardiovascular, pulmonary and endocrine features. The management of these complications so far is supportive and includes symptomatic medical treatment and physical rehabilitation.
