ABSTRACT
Neurilemoma is a type of benign tumor originating from the peripheral nerves of Schwann cells, which can occur at any age and although, in theory, it can appear anywhere in the body, its location in the trachea is very rare. We present the case of a 60-year-old woman with a tracheal neurilemoma, diagnosed and operated on at the Hermanos Ameijeiras Clinical-Surgical Hospital, with good postoperative evolution.
