Nymphoplasty plus Lipotransfer of Labia Majora in a Patient with Clitoromegaly

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Clitoromegaly is an abnormal enlargement of the clitoris, which can be congenital or acquired. It is due to an excess of androgens in fetal life, childhood and adolescence. There are several options for its treatment.
Clinical case: A 22-year-old woman, who had dissatisfaction with the appearance of her genitals due to an increase in the size of the clitoris, presented at the plastic surgery and burns service of Hermanos Ameijeiras Clinical-Surgical Hospital. The patient was performed the procedure of nymphoplasty plus lipotransfer of the labia majora, conserving her clitoris.
Results: The patient improved with the masking of the clitoromegaly by increasing the size of the labia majora and reducing the hypertrophy of the labia minora, without presenting complications.
