ABSTRACT
We describe two cases of solid hemangioblastoma: one of the union cervicomedullary as vascular benign tumor of dangerous localization and the second case located in the segment thoracic T9-T11 of the spinal cord and associated with syringomyelia and syringobulbia; both cases were detected by clinic and study of magnetic resonance. A total microsurgical resection was done of both lesions. In the first case was carried out suboccipital craniectomy and draw back from the posterior arch of C1 with laminectomy of C2; in the second case laminotomy of T9-T11, both cases with good postoperative evolution. The syringomyelia and syringobulbia were controlled when recanalizing the cavity and with the total retirement of the medullar tumor of the thoracic segments, disappearing the neurogenic hypertension. The diagnosis of hemangioblastoma was confirmed by histopathological exam in both cases. The association with syndrome of Von Hippel-Lindau was discarded.
