Epidemiology of acute diarrhea in children

ABSTRACT
Childhood acute diarrhea is a problem of global public health, causing a high rate of morbidity and mortality
in children, especially in countries in developing such as ours. Determining the epidemiological characteristics
involved in childhood diarrhea will result in the decrease of its incidence.
