Activated partial thromboplastin time in heparin anticoagulant therapy. Comparison between coagulometric method and magnetic test card

ABSTRACT

The activated partial thromboplastin time was determinated in plasma of patients and healthy voluntaries and comparative with the plasma of patients with heparin anticoagulant therapy. The method employed was nephelometric-coagulometric in IL equipment (coagulometer), comparative with test aPTT test card (Thrombolytic Assessment System). "aPTT test card" was less sensible comparative with the method nephelometric-coagulometric.
