ABSTRACT
Dissecting cellulitis of the scalp (DCS), or
perifoliculitis capitis abscedens
et suffodiens, is an uncommon inflammatory disease
characterized by pustules, nodules and abscesses with interconnecting
sinus tracts that could develop sparring alopecia. It is
a chronic, fluctuating and relapsing disease. We report a case
of a 16-year-old male with DCS and good respose to oral isotretinoin.
