ABSTRACT
Multislice angiography using contrast medium, of 64 slices or more, has a high spatial resolution. It allows evaluation of thin coronary arteries. It emits very little radiation in a low time and provides more than 1000 dimensional and three-dimensional images in eight seconds, and without major complications. It defines congenital and acquired heart diseases, surgical or not. It has a preventive, evolutionary and predictive role in coronary microcirculation disease; in turn, it defines its unconventional management. The objective of this presentation was to analyze the importance of computed angiography prior to invasive hemodynamic investigation.REFERENCES
