ABSTRACT

This work identifies some of the risk factors for the health of students in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodology used is based on the framework of a situational health diagnosis, which allows the interpretation of the health-disease processes, as well as the epidemiological characterization of the study population. At first glance, these issues are considered from an individual study point of view, but throughout the investigation, it will be possible to notice their close relationship and how one of them can lead to the development of the others, since health is not only the absence of disease but is closely related to people’s mental state, but without a good education, they will not have the necessary knowledge to make responsible decisions and well-being at the individual and social level, the current health situation they are experiencing the students of the University Center for Health Sciences in home confinement due to pandemic worldwide, has become a critical point and current issue of public health, since it has the objective of improving the quality of life and well-being of the human population promoting good health and prolonging life.
